I was born in Dunfermline Scotland, so it has always been home to me. I suppose that having it also be my surname has made my connection to Scotland deeper in some ways.
got the travel bug about the same time I got the photography bug, a symbiotic relationship if there ever was one. In High School I took a photography course, and dabbled a bit in the darkroom, developing my own photographs.
My love of photography led me to other hobbies as well. I joined the local climbing club, not because I had a mad desire to climb, but the pictures I wanted to take were from the top of those hills.
I am inspired by the rugged grandeur of Scotland, the mist that covers the Cuillin Mountains, and the desolate beauty of the Highlands. I suggest that you enjoy this gallery with a single malt.
